For all the saints, who from their labors rest”, set to a newly revised arrangement of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Sine Nomine, brings festive hymnody to your All Saints Day liturgy or other appropriate occasions.  Often sung as the entrance or processional hymn, it is also perfectly appropriate as a closing hymn that quite nicely sums up the reason for the Feast of All Saints.

All eight stanzas are incorporated and completed in about 6 3/4 minutes.  The arrangement incorporates organ, trumpets, trombones and a couple of different descants in keeping with both the solemnity and the importance of this feast day.  Although a single brass player per part will work, more than one player per part enhances the ability to balance organ, brass and voices without overpowering others.
