Using a metrical adaptation of the plainsong “urbs beata Jerusalem,” this Introduction, Fughetta and Sortie brings the full resources of the organ into our sacred space as inspiration to praise our Creator for the gift of a New Jerusalem - our home once we have been admitted into that glorious hereafter - eternal life by way of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and our choice for salvation.
